A little bit about me, purely to feed my ego. I’m a twentysomething year old from Ireland who has had a passion for writing and sport for as long as I can remember… without actually having the talent or fitness. Growing up, I played almost every sport available to me, soccer (football), Gaelic games (Irish sports) and basketball (the tall person sport). A jack of all trades and master of absolutely none, I was functional at best in the sports I played, but never excelled. I could rattle off statistics and useless facts about teams like it was nobody’s business though, so that’s probably useful… somewhere.
With that being said, I ended up trying to focus on education and found that finding and writing stories was another passion of mine. I have an extremely active imagination for creating stories, so this is where I can put those stories.
And that brings us here, to the words that you are currently reading. And while you read this, I am probably raging at the site that is currently hosting this visual banquet before you, as I struggle to understand the technology that it so desperately depends on.
The aim of this blog (eww…) is to give me a place to write about the stuff I like, feel like my opinion matters and subject others to it. In all seriousness, fiction and sport are, probably, my two favourite things, so I’d like to think I know a thing or two or can come up with something about either of them.
